Inserting pages

In this video, I'm going to show you two methods for inserting a page from one document into another document. So when we look at the page thumbnails for this History of Art book, you can see that there's something important missing: the book doesn't have a cover. So here is method one. In the Thumbnails panel--and just click that little pulldown by the Options icon and choose Insert Pages > From File. And then I am going to choose my Art_Cover, and that's my donor file. And I can choose where I want this page inserted. So I could say Before or After, I can choose First or Last, and I can even select two pages between which I would insert this.

So if I wanted it after Page 45, I could say After > Page > 45. But here of course I wanted before the first page. So when I click OK there is my cover. Now I want to show you method two.
