Fixing basic hairline artwork
- If you've used artwork at a reduced size in a page layout or an illustration, you may find that, as a result of being scaled down, some of the smaller details in the artwork become so thin that they might present a challenge on press. But you'll be happy to know that you can actually increase the weight of such artwork right in Acrobat Pro DC. You don't have to return to the original application. Now, in this envelope artwork, at the upper right, that stamp cancellation doesn't look all that thin, does it? But that's because Acrobat Pro DC automatically fattens up thin lines. It's trying to provide a better, if not more realistic, display. So, let me show you that option, and I'm going to turn it off so we have a more realistic view of just how thin this artwork is. On Windows I'll go to Edit Preferences, on the Mac you would go to Acrobat Preferences, and then choose Page Display in the left-hand column.
