- In LifeCycle Designer, the reading order…is based on the tab order defined in the form.…So let's take a look at how to view…and specify the tab order in LifeCycle Designer.…Now, I'm beginning this video…with the Order.pdf file already open.…Now, this form is a little bit more complex…in that this is built as a flowing form…and that's kind of a principle in LifeCycle Designer…where you can select a sub-form…and you can actually tell that sub-form,…over here in the object palette,…in the sub-form tab, to be flowed.…
Now, that definitely helps to control…how things are positioned,…but traditionally, if you're not doing that,…as you drag form objects onto the page,…the tab order is established starting on the left-hand side…going down and then moving to the right.…So basically, upper left-hand corner to the lower right.…Now, to view the tab order…we could do a couple of different things here.…If we go to the View menu,…we can choose Show Tab Order,…and we're going to get this dialogue box,…we're just going to click "OK" for now.…
