Take a look at the home screen and user interface, and navigate the shortcut buttons.
- [Instructor] Alright, let's go ahead and open up the program, take a look around. Here's the home screen. You can see immediately it's asking me to select a project. Not quite ready for that. I'm gonna hit cancel. A quick view of the quick starter icons. You've got select project. Schedule. Some of these are grayed out. The rates. The new CCN or new construction change notice. There's a copy. And a delete.
Sort schedule. Filter schedule. Print. These will all become illuminated when you have a project open. Calculator. Here's the database manager. And a pricing update of where you can update your database. This icon will launch the version of Accubid Estimating that you're using. And of course, the two help icons. You've also got these dropdown menus with pretty much the same stuff in it. See where your launching estimating again. Opening the database manager and pricing update.
The same as these icons over here. Project. New. Select. Delete. Backup and restore. Which we'll look at later. The settings. There's a little bit more information here. This is where you set which project folders you're using. And databases. Then the defaults for different projects. And the global default which is for the overall default. Your typical options. And help. This is pretty much what the home screen looks like.
