- [Narrator] Now things are going to get a little more tricky. You're going to extend the items that are listed with the unit of measure. Such as per C or per M. When we do this, there's a little bit of multiplication and a little bit of division required. It looks something like this. The letter C is the Roman numeral 100. Therefore, 175 feet of half-inch conduit priced at $45 per 100, or C would be calculated 175 times $45 divided by 100 which would equal $78 and 75 cents The letter M is the Roman numeral 1000. Therefore, 450 feet of number 12 THHN wire priced at $120 per 1000 or M would be calculated 450 times $120 divided by 1000 which equals $54. Let's put that onto our take out sheet. Here's two more measurements: 12 inch cable tray 386 feet It's $712 per hundred. We divide that by a hundred. The result would be $2748 and 32 cents. Mylar caution tape 120 feet times $25 and 20 cents divided by 1000 Three dollars and two cents.
