Viewing and printing a Trial Balance report

Viewing and printing a Trial Balance report
The trial balance report displays the total debits and credits entered into the opening balances for the year to date. We are going to view a trial balance to check those opening balances that have been entered into Carol's data file. From the Action Command panel, click on to your mouse and roll up to Accounts. In the top section accounts, locate the trial balance. We need to change the date to make it January 2015. Display the report to screen. We can see the the NAB check account has $7560 as a debit. The trade debtors has $3340 as a debit. And the historical balancing account has $10900 as a credit, so our trial balance and even our balance sheet is in balance. We'll learn more about reports in another course. Let's click onto the red close to close the screen. Click close to return to the command center.
