Understanding libraries and where your data file is stored
Before we continue with the functionality of AccountRight Live, let's first understand a bit more about libraries and where data is stored. An AccountRight library is a defined location where all of your AccountRight company files are stored. An AccountRight library can be located on a computer, online or on a network computer. We can view these libraries when we choose to open a company file from the welcome window. The files stored on the local computer are displayed under My Library. You also have the option to access files stored online or in network libraries. If the company file with an extension of .MYOX is on a USB drive, CD or another location, this can be added to a local or network library by clicking on the button Add a Company File to this Library. The file will be saved in the library on the computer in a folder that is currently selected. What is my library? This library is located on the local C drive and is automatically created when AccountRight Live is installed…
