A service bill needs to be created when goods and services are purchased, and the business wants to age them, or wait to pay the account until it is due. For example, wait 30 days from the date of the invoice. Carol purchased some bookkeeping services from Cook the Books, so we need to create a service bill for this purchase. As well as add Cook the Books as a supplier into our card file area. From the purchases command center, click onto Enter Purchases. We want to go straight to a bill, so our form is correct. If we click onto the drop down box, we need to click onto New to create a new card for Cook the Books. We'd also like to link this card by clicking onto the buying details tab. And beside the expense account, we want to link it to accounting and bookkeeping fees. We're going to leave the rest of the details the way that they are. And click onto the OK button.
