Entering purchase orders and converting them to bills

Services purchases are used to record services or items bought from a supplier. In our example, Ajax Chemicals requires an order every time Carol's Cleaning needs more products. This order will be converted into a bill once the items are received. There are four different types of purchase transactions, service, item, professional and miscellaneous. Carol will be using a service layout. This is a free form layout that allows unique data to be typed into the description area. From the purchases command center click onto Enter Purchases. In the top left hand corner, change the purchase type to be an Order. The color of the screen will change. Click onto the drop down box, and locate Ajax Chemicals. The terms have been set, and it's text inclusive, but we'd like to set the purchase order number to commence at 1001. The date range needs to be the 11th of January, 2015.
