- When you're creating a design, there are a couple of key things that impact your work. We've talked briefly about these scenarios earlier in the course: multiple column layouts and line of sight for calls to action. These are significant challenges for people with low vision that have a limited view of the screen. Look to transform some of your forms from a multiple column layout like this one into a single vertical stack. This will keep error messages, form field requirements, and other important information all in the field of view for a low-vision user. Here's a few sample layouts and wireframes to consider. We'll show each on the screen for a few seconds. Use that straw test to fill out and submit each form. Look for opportunities to use that straw test in your own work. It will help you identify areas where a low-vision user doesn't have a strong line of sight on a call to action.
