Work with joins
- [Voiceover] When creating queries that include multiple tables, it's important to understand how those tables are related in order to get meaningful results. Typically, Access will be able to assist you when building these relationships that they've not already been previously defined. But there are occasions when you'll need to create or modify how your tables are joined together. Let's take a look at a couple of examples, but first I want to review underneath the Database Tools the relationships as they currently exist in this database. Right now we have a relationship between the Customers and the Orders table and another relationship between the Customers and the States table. Let's see what happens if we were to delete these relationships. I'm going to right click on each of these lines and just press the delete option and say yes to that and we'll do it again, right click + delete and yes to that. Now let's go ahead and close out the relationships and start building a query…
