- [Voiceover] Business managers love looking at comparative data. Whether its different areas over the same time period, or a year-over-year comparison of the same location, comparing data points can quickly give some powerful insights into the health of an organization, and the overall trends. In this chapter, we're going to construct a reporting tool that compares various data points and allows the end-use to define the parameters for a report. By hooking several of Access' objects together, we can create a dynamic tool for generating an infinite number or reports based off of the needs of the end-user. Let's take quick look at how the completed system will work. Here on the Main Menu we've got six new combo boxes where we can make selections. This will compare sales data from our orders table. And we can choose a Year, Month and Sub Region and compare that to a different Year, Month and Sub Region by making choices over here. Let's go ahead and fill in some of these values. I'm…
