- [Narrator] As with many of the objects in Access,…the easiest way…to get started with queries is to have…a wizard walk us through the steps of the creation process.…Before we can get started, let's have a goal in mind though.…Let's first take a look at the existing data tables…and one way that we can get…the big picture on what's going on…in the Access database is by going back to the…relationships screen, which if you remember…you can get to from database tools…and then clicking on relationships.…Now, I've added a bunch of new tables here,…since the last time we took a look at the…relationships screen.…Specifically, I want to take a look at the relationship…between the guest table and this table here called…room assignments.…
We can see that they are linked together…based off of the guest ID field.…So, the guest ID and the room assignments table…is the foreign key for that table.…We also have fields for the check in date…as well as the room ID that each guest…was assigned to.…We can see the day of the week that they checked in,…
