Process a column of values with domain functions
- [Voiceover] The domain aggregate functions are a useful set of functions that will help you parse out information from the database and calculate values over a column, or what's referred to as a domain of a data table or a query records set. In our database, we have a query called Employee-LifetimeSales. This query displays our sales employees' ID number, their first and last name, and has a calculated column called LifetimeSales that displays the total value of all the orders that they are associated with. Now, I'd like to use this information to find out how much our sales people are above or below the average lifetime sales figures across the company. It would also be nice to be able to see how far away each sales person is from achieving the top position in the rankings. We can accomplish both of these tasks using domain functions. Let's go ahead and close this down, and we're gonna create a new query in Design view based off of that query. I'm going to switch the tab to Queries…
