In this video, Adam explores the grouping and sorting behavior of records in an Access report. With the aid of a deck of cards, Adam shuffles, sorts, and groups the records of five thousand random card draws into logical structures that organize the results by suit, color, and frequency of appearance.

Here I have a table called Draw…and if I take a look at the very bottom…I see that I have 5,000 records in this table.…This table represents 5,000 random card pulls…from a standard deck of playing cards.…You can see that the first time I pulled a card out…it was the six of hearts.…Then I put that card back in, reshuffled,…and pulled out another card, the four of clubs.…
