- [Voiceover] I wanna start this movie by passing on a fundamental concept that might change the way you think about Access. Every object, every form, every button, or check box, or label, or test box, everything, has a name and value associated with it inside of Access. And every name or value can be used as an input somewhere else in your database. Really understanding this concept will set you on the path of becoming a true Access rock star, and here's why. Access objects, that is tables, forms, queries, reports, et cetera, they're all presented by the interface's individual components of your database. But in reality, it's the interaction and interconnections between objects that allow your databases to do some pretty amazing things. In a previous movie, we looked at how we can provide our end users with a pop-up dialogue box to define some query parameters.
