Object alignment
- [Voiceover] The snap in grid in the background of the form design view helps keep your elements aligned, but it can sometimes be difficult to get everything in exactly the right position. There are a couple of tools available in the arrange tab that can help us out in that regard. Let's continue working on our employee directory form and I'll switch its view into design view. Then we'll come over here and select the arrange tab from the contextual group. Now most of these options on the left hand side of the screen are grayed out and they have very specific use cases in which they'll be enabled. Specifically, you can use these options in the table section to have Access arrange and group objects as it sees fit. Personally, I find the grouping of objects in Access to be cumbersome, so I prefer to manually arrange things on the screen. I find this gives me more flexibility to put things exactly where I want them. So let's focus on the far right hand side in the sizing and ordering…
