Modify form properties
- [Instructor] The format tab on the ribbon gives you a quick place to change some of the most common settings for your form elements, such as color, font, and size. But those options are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the vast number of properties that each element possesses. To see the full list, we'll have to dive into something called the property sheet. Let's continue working with our Employee directory, and I'll switch it into design view. There's lots of different ways to open up the property sheet. From the Design tab of the ribbon, you'll find a button over here. I could also press the F4 shortcut key on my keyboard, or press alt+enter to toggle it on or off. Another way that I can get to the property sheet is to simply double-click on an object, then it'll jump right there. Or, finally, I can right-click on an object, and in the popup menu, come down to the bottom and choose Properties from the list. In the property sheet, there's a drop-down list here that…
