- [Instructor] So, once you're confident that your data has been archived successfully, it's a simple matter to convert your select query into a delete query to remove the records from the current database that you just archived. Because the structure of the query is exactly the same, only the type of the query has changed, changing from one type directly to the other ensures that your records that you've deleted are exactly the same as the records that you just copied. To switch out from a make table query over here to a delete query, I'll just change the type up here. I don't need to make any other changes. I'll just go ahead and press the Run button. Now, the window says that you're about to delete 616 rows from the specified table. Again, once you click Yes, you can't use the undo command to reverse those changes.
