Make the jump to using Access
- [Instructor] Businesses no longer need data. I mean, after all, data is everywhere. What organizations do need are actionable insights that are informed by this data, and Microsoft's Access makes this dead easy. That's right, no longer do you need to be a developer to create powerful databases. Hi, I'm Josh Rischin, and I've been working with Access for more than 20 years now, helping enterprises of all shapes and sizes make better business decisions using data. In this course, I'll give you a brief tour of Access. We'll even create a basic database from scratch. You'll then learn how to create powerful queries, and finally, we'll sift through some neat ways of preparing reports and charts. Now, if you're already familiar with Excel, then this course is perfect for you, because we'll move through Access's core features at a pretty steady pace. We'll also assume that you're already familiar with the main principles of data, but are looking for a more durable solution for the ongoing management of your data. Now, I'm sure you're itching to get started, so let's do it.
