- [Voiceover] In the last movie, we created separate passwords on the front end and back ends of our split H plus sport database. This creates a situation where I can give people access to the front end, but keep the underlined data tables secure from prying eyes and mischievous edits. But now if I try and access the tables from the front end here, you'll notice that Access gives me this warning that says it's not a valid password and I can't get access to the tables. That effectively breaks the functionality of the entire database. 'Course if I try and open up one of these directories I get the same message because it's trying to get access to the password protected data tables. But say okay to that, and we'll stop all the macros. Now in order to fix this, you might think that we'll go back to the external data tab and revisit the links table manager. If I try and re-link these tables, I'll press select all here and then press OK, it's going to tell me again that it's not a valid…
