- [Narrator] Now that we've seen all of the controls that we have at our disposal, when creating forms and reports, let's bring this full circle and piece a couple of the objects together to control the chart that we created in the last movie. If you've been following along, you should have a form here called Order Volume. And if I open it up we can see that chart. Now this chart is based off of a query called Order Dates. And right now it's displaying all of the data in the database, which covers a six-month range. What I'd like to do is update this chart, so that I can control what range of dates it displays. I can do this by creating a couple of combo boxes to select a starting and end date for the range that I'm interested in. Then, I'll create a button to update the chart. Let's go ahead and take this form into Design View. And the first thing that I need to do is actually move my chart down on the form so that I have some more space at the top to work with.
