- [Voiceover] The hyperlink and web browser controls allow your database to reach out beyond your local computer and out onto the web. You can use the hyperlink control to open a website or embed online content right there inside of your database. Let's take a look at how we can use the hyperlinks and the web browser controls by taking our controls form and I'll right-click on it and go straight into design view. The hyperlink control object is this one here with the globe and the chain link icon here in the design tab of the ribbon. I'll go ahead and click on it and that starts up the insert hyperlink dialog box. On the left we have choices to link to various objects, in fact I can link to existing files or web pages, objects in this database, email addresses, and use something called the hyperlink builder. Let's first take a look at existing web pages or files. When I click here I have the option to look in the current folder for a file. I can go to browse pages in my browsing…
