- [Instructor] We're gonna continue working on the database that we were using in the last movie. But since we set a bunch of options to customize the start-up process, we need to launch the file in a special way so we can get access to the design tools that we're gonna need. To do that, we'll find the database here on the Desktop. The database file that I want to work with is 'H+ Sport - Splash Screen'. I'll hold down the Shift key on my keyboard and double-click on it to open it up. And with the Shift key still held down while the start-up process completes, that'll go ahead and bypass all those start-up options. Now, one of the things that you might find in many professional applications is the use of a splash screen when the program is loading. A splash screen introduces the application and might give useful information about the program version or who created it.
