- [Instructor] When it's time to ship your database off to an end user, you'll sometimes find that they don't actually have a copy of Microsoft Access installed on their computer. You might think that you'll need to have the user purchase a license from Microsoft, but hold on, you don't actually need to do that. Microsoft only requires that you have license for Access in order to develop an application. If you just wanna run a database that's already created, then you just need to install something called the Access Runtime. The easiest way to find the Runtime is to start at microsoft.com and just do a simple search. I'll type in Access Runtime here and we'll see that there actually isn't a version of the Access Runtime for 2019 yet at the time of this recording. I'll go ahead and select link for the Access Runtime 2016 and everything should work just fine still. Then I'll click on the first result in the searches and that'll take me to the Microsoft Access 2016 Runtime download page.…
