- [Voiceover] When it's time to ship your database off to an end user, you'll sometimes find that they don't actually have a copy of Microsoft Access installed on their computer. You might think that you'll have to have the user purchase a license from Microsoft but hold on, you don't need to do that. Microsoft only requires that you have a license for Access in order to develop an application. If you just wanna run a database that's already been created, then you just need to install something called the Access Runtime. Let me show you what this is all about. The easiest way to find Microsoft Access Runtime is just to go to microsoft.com and search for it here in the search box. I'll type in Access 2016 Runtime.
