- [Instructor] It's important to know how to import to and from our databases. Maybe you're working with a team to build queries for reporting. Let's do some basic imports. Okay, let's go ahead and close these queries, and if you're prompted to save changes, choose yes. I'll just right click and choose Close All. Okay, I'm going to navigate to External Data. I'll do a New Data Source. I'll choose From Database. And I'll chose from the Access database. I'll browse to my Exercise Files. And I'll grab our ImportQry database. I'll choose Import here because I want to take a copy of these queries that were written in another database on the same data. Maybe it's from a teammate or maybe it's just my process of making sure I stay out of production. Either way, I don't want to rebuild those queries, I want to import them in.
