- [Instructor] Before we get going with this video, make sure you have the database file 03_01_EnhanceQuery open. Let's say that you've already built an Access query. You can see it here on the left under the All Access Objects window. Double-clicking on the query will simply rerun it. If we now go and select the Design View, we can start to see what the query is doing. We may just need to scroll across to the right a little bit more to see the last field in our query. But what you can see that it's doing is adding the Area Category field from our Category table to all of the other fields from the Employment Data table. The reason that we created this query was to allow the data to be grouped by the Area Category here. However, if we go back now to the Datasheet View, what you'll see is this query isn't actually grouping the data by the Area Category. Rather, it's simply added it to the table.
