- By default your access databases are wide open for development. This makes it easy for you to design all of the tables, forms, and queries and reports that are needed for your custom database application. However, when it's time to deploy the database to your end users, you can't be certain that they'll know what to do with all those options. And maybe, more importantly, what not to do. Ideally, you've developed your custom database application to provide all the navigation controls to get to the forms and reports you want the end user to interact with. Just like I've done here with the the Main Menu form. Now we need to find ways to remove as much of the Access interface as possible. Which will help keep users away from the things that they shouldn't mess with. To do this we'll turn our attention to the Access options.
