- Every object in control in Microsoft Access has a set of properties that can be defined to give you more control over your database. Queries and the fields within your queries are no exception. By understanding the options available within the query property sheets, you'll gain more control over the queries that you can construct. In this movie, we'll take a look at some of the properties that we can control for each of the fields in our query and we're gonna use the products with alias query that we created in the last movie. Let's go ahead and right click on it and we can choose to open it straight into design view by choosing that option from the popup menu. There's a couple of different ways that we can turn on the property sheet, there's a button right up here on the ribbon to turn on the property sheet or I can use the alt enter shortcut key on my keyboard to turn it on or off, or I can right click anywhere and choose properties from the popup menu.
