The Access interface provides all of the tools necessary to build a custom application wrapper to allow the collection, storage, and retrieval of your own unique data. The commands that you will use are organized in the ribbon toolbars and the objects that you create are stored in the Navigation pane.
- [Voiceover] The commands available within Access will…allow you to create some pretty sophisticated user inerfaces…for your own custom data application.…Let's turn our attention away from the task list database,…and see how the main Access user interface is organized,…starting at the very top of the screen.…Here at the top, I've got the title bar,…that'll tell me the name of the file…that I'm currently working with,…as well as its file path on my computer.…On the left hand side of the screen,…I've got something called the quick access toolbar,…which provides me quick access to buttons…that are commonly used within Access.…For instance, I've got the save button here,…undo, and redo options.…
If you wanna add additional commands…to the quick access toolbar, just click…this downward point arrow here,…and we can add additional commands from the menu.…On the right hand side of the screen,…I have this question mark button here,…that'll get me into the Access help documentation.…If you click it, it'll load up the help document…
