Expanding and collapsing the Ribbon

Microsoft Access' Ribbons allow you to create and work in your database quickly and easily, but sometimes they can take up valuable screen real estate. You have the ability to expand and collapse your Ribbons as needed. To do this, right-click on the blue bar at the top of the Ribbon and in the Shortcut menu that appears, choose Minimize the Ribbon. It's gone. If you right-click any of the Ribbon tabs at the top, you can reselect Minimize the Ribbon and it will open again. Another way to expand and collapse the Ribbon is to double-click on any of the tab names. They'll shrink up and then double-click again to open them. And last, use the keyboard command Ctrl+F1 to toggle it open and closed. When you have a lot of data to view at once, collapsing the Ribbon will gain up to an extra inch of real estate on your screen.
