- [Narrator] In addition to gathering and displaying records from data tables, we can add filtering constraints to the query design grid to only display the exact records that we're interested in seeing. Let's see how this works by exploring the data that we've collected for the Landon Hotel's guests. To do this, we'll start with the create tab and in the queries group I'm going to start a new query in design view. Now the only table that I'm interested in getting information out of is the guests table. So I'll go ahead and double click on that in the show table window, and then close this window. From the guest table, I want to see some information, I want to see the first name and last name, I'll just double click on each of those. I also want to see the country that they're from. We'll scroll down. I'll pull out the state column as well and finally the phone column, just double click on each of those to add them into the grid down below.
