Editing relationships
- [Instructor] Relationships are so important to an Access database. You have to get them right. So let's look at how you can edit them. Now why might you need to edit them? There are three scenarios. One would be that you made a mistake when you created the relationship. You dragged from field A to field B and you should have gone from field A to field C. Simple dragging in the wrong direction. Perfectly okay. Happens all the time, it's easy to fix. Second scenario. Let's say that you have to make a change to one of the fields that's involved in a relationship, and you go to make the change in design view on the table, and it's gonna tell you you can't because the field's involved in a relationship. So you'll have to come in here to Relationships and delete the relationship before you can make the change. The other scenario is if you have inadvertently created the wrong kind of relationship and you need to change the nature of the relationship. You'll need to delete it first, and…
