- [Narrator] All of the tools that we'll be using in Access are organized into the same ribbon tab layout that's used throughout the Microsoft Office suite. By default, there are five main ribbons, plus the file tab which will take us to some additional options. Now when you start working with various objects, you'll see some additional tabs that appear depending on the context of what you're working on. Let's take a look at each of the tabs and we'll get a peak of the organization, starting with the file tab on the far left. When I click on it, it reveals a screen called the Backstage view. This is where you can open up a new database file, save the current file, get to the print preview settings, or close the current database. We also have the options to take a look at our current account that we've logged into, send some feedback to Microsoft, or get into the options for access.
