- [Instructor] Did you know it's quick and easy to amend the properties of your data fields? Let's take a look at how. Make sure you have 0201 Properties open, and double-click the table that is in our database. It will open up a preview here. Now let's go ahead and click on Fields from our menu options, and what you're looking at now, is the formatting of either the field or column that has been selected. Let's go ahead and select the Date column. As you can see, the data type is date/time, and the format is MMM-YY. Now, if you like, you can select the dropdown box here, and choose one of the default options, or, what I like to do, is go ahead to View, select Design View, then let's click on Date, and change the format to a custom one, such as MMM-YYYY. Now let's go ahead and select View, and go back to Data Sheet View. Now, when prompted here, let's click on Yes, to save the table, and just like that, you can see that…
