- [Instructor] When you want to know where things stand with your customers, or your students, your employees, your projects, whatever your database is tracking, a query of the status field is just what you need. So I'm going to start out here by selecting the customers table, just clicking on it, and then I'm gonna go up here to the create tab. And from the create tab, I'm gonna click query design. Now a lot of times people think, oh, I see a query wizard, that's gonna make things easier. I will tell you that query design is actually easier to use than the query wizard. So that's where we're gonna work. So I'm gonna click query design. And we get the show table dialog box. And then you'll notice these columns across the bottom. It's kind of a grid. And that's gonna get filled in with the components of our query. Now in the show table dialog box, we have to choose which table or tables we want to use in the query.
