To make moving through records and adding new ones easier, learn how to add navigation buttons to move forward and backward through the records displayed through the form.
- [Instructor] One of the most common complaints…about the Access interface is the size of the buttons.…Whether it's in the field properties or the property sheet,…things are small and really close together,…and it's also true about forms in Form view.…Now, I've go the Product Sources form open,…and down at the lower left you'll see all the buttons.…They're very small, little, tiny triangles.…This one here to create a new record, really teeny.…So, and not only are they teeny,…they're really close together.…
So, we're gonna make this form,…the Product Sources form, much easier to use…by adding next and previous record buttons to the top.…I'm gonna put them up in this area here.…Now, I'm going to do that by switching over to Design view,…and then, in the Design tab, we're going to use…the Button button, which I love to say.…It's the Button button.…It's got four Xs on it.…And, I click that, and then I come down here…and I draw a box.…Don't worry about the size or the position.…
All of that, you can move later.…Now, this opens the Command Button Wizard,…
