- [Voiceover] In the last couple of movies, we split our database into a front-end and back-end and gave each component a separate password in order to control access to our information. One of the main advantages to splitting a database is that each end user can receive a customized front-end that is tailor made for the tasks that they need to accomplish. Let me show you how we can easily set this up. Let's suppose that we want to have our product development team be able to add new products to our database but not have any access to the customers or order information. In essence what I want to do is have a database that only has access to the product descriptions, products and sizes tables, as well as the view product listing form here. We can set that up by modifying a copy of this current database that we're working with. Let's go ahead and close this one down here and we'll return into the chapter three folder, and we'll select this database, and I'll just press Control+C and…
