Create an unmatched records query
- [Voiceover] The wizard makes it seem like the Find Unmatched Query is something special but they're actually really easy to create manually as well. Let me show you how create a query that identifies states without any customers. We'll go to the Create tab and we'll start in the Query Design View. In this case I'm gonna pull out my States table here and my Customers table here. From the States table I'm gonna choose the State Name to get the full name of the state and from the Customers table I'm gonna find the Customer ID. Now if I were just to run this right now we'll just see the Customer ID and the state that they live in. Now if I look at the very bottom of the screen I'll see that there's a total of 1,000 customers in my database right now. Let's go back into Design View. Now previously we saw that if we modify the join line between these two tables we have some different options.
