- [Voiceover] We're working on creating a profit summary report and step one, gather the data with a query has been completed. Now it's time to start establishing the structure of the report itself. I'll come up to the create tab and we'll start our new report in design view, then, as with any report, we'll go over to the property sheet and on the data tab for the report properties we'll find the record source property. Here we'll connect it to our data source. Using the drop down menu I'll choose the profit summary query that we created in the last movie, and then I'll close the property sheet for a moment. Next we need to set up our grouping and sorting levels for this report, so I'll come over here on the ribbon and press group and sort. Down here in the bottom I'll press the add a group button. Now first we wanna group these records based off of the year that they occurred in. Now this database only includes records for the first six months of 2016, but I want this report to be…
