- [Instructor] I'm a firm believer in teaching database users how to run their own queries to obtain the data they're seeking. Parameter queries are great tools we can use to ask users to enter the criteria they want to use and they can use this same query over and over again without going into design view simply by changing the criteria. In this video I'll show you how to create both a single parameter query and a multiple parameter query. Let's go ahead and take a look at our 04 04 parameter query database. And we're going to focus on the 2016 sales table. My first query will be a parameter query that prompts the user to enter the sales person's name. Let's go ahead and close the table. Go to create. Go into query design. From the show table window I'll go ahead and select the 2016 sales table then close my show table window.
