Create an IIf() function

- In this video we'll begin writing our own conditional statement using the query designer at Access. We'll be using the expression builder to help us generate proper syntax and we'll be using some mathematical expressions to evaluate our data. First, we need to define the question we want answered. I wanna clearly identify which employees met the sales goal of $10,000 in the first three months of 2016. If they met the goal then they earned a performance bonus. I also want to see which employees did not earn the bonus. Now I've already got a query started gathering some information. Let's go ahead and take a look at the sales quarter one 2016 query. I'll double click on it to run it and here we can see we have the employee ID, the first name and last name of the employee, as well as a column called Quarter 1 2016 Sales. If we switch our view into design view we'll notice we've got two tables here. We've got the employees table and the second one is actually a query that we made…
