Create an AutoExec macro

- [Instructor] Sometimes you're gonna want your databases to do several things on start up. Right now I have the database I'm gonna take a look at called H+ Sport Autoexec. And when I double click on it to open it, we'll have the Access splash screen. Then we have the splash screen that we created. And after about three seconds, that turns off and it starts up the main menu for the database. And we can get similar functionality but with more flexibility by using a special macro in the database to control the start up behaviors, rather than initiating the process through the start up options. Let's take a look at that, I'm gonna close out of this database here. And we need to open up the database by holding down the shift key and then double clicking on it to open it. And then I'll bypass all of those start up options. Now I'm gonna go to the Create tab and in the Macros and Codes section, I'm gonna click on the Macro button.
