- There are several reasons why databases move. Sometimes we build in a test lab, copy, and then we move it to production. Sometimes, we change server locations. Either way, you need to know how to change connections when your database moves. Also, if you didn't start at the beginning of this course, and you jumped in the middle, you may find you need change the connections that are currently pointing to my machine to your machine. So, let's take a look at how to change connections. Okay, so we're on the data tab, and we're in that base query, and on the far right-hand side, do you see where it says query? Go ahead and choose that query tab. Then I want you to choose the edit option. This is actually opening up power query, and power query is controlling the data that we see.
