Button controls
- [Voiceover] Buttons are one of the key interactive elements that you'll use on forms. They instantly tell the end user that something will happen when you click there. Buttons will be linked to either macros or visual basic code to control their behavior. Now you might be surprised to hear that you can actually also use buttons on reports and they're really quite useful. They can aid navigation or filtering while viewing the report on the screen. The nice thing about that arrangement is that the buttons actually won't print when they're placed on a report. So let's go ahead and take a look at some button controls by opening up our controls form in design view. Right click and choose design view. And you'll find the button control up here in the design tab of the ribbon. It's this one here with the rectangle and the four Xs in it. And I like to call it the button button.
