The final step in creating our reporting tool is to construct the actual report that will format our query results for the printed page. Just like when building the query though, it's gonna make more sense to build our report with some actual data values showing up. So let's go ahead and make some selections here on the main menu and it doesn't really matter what we choose here. How about January 2018 in the Mid-Atlantic region? Now compare those records to the same month, January 2018 in the Mountain region. We'll just go ahead and leave these here on the main menu and go to the Create tab. We'll start building our report in Design view. The first thing we need to do here on the report is to connect it to its data source. And to do that, we'll come over and open up the Property Sheet.
