- [Voiceover] In this chapter, we're going to build a report that summarizes monthly profits from each state that H Sport sold products to. The report will be customizable by some form controls, so the end user can choose a month and region to view. There's a lot of parts to this project though, so we'll build it one piece at a time. Let's start by creating a query that will collect and organize the data that we're interested in reporting on. And we can do that by coming up here to the Create tab, and starting a new query in Design view. From the Show Table window, we're going to choose several tables to pull data from. Let's start with the Orders table. That's going to give us our basic information about the customer ID, product ID that was ordered, as well as the quantity, and if I were to scroll down, you would see date here as well.
