- [Instructor] Using text boxes on a form for data entry will get the job done in most cases, but it's not always the best solution for some types of information. On our Enter a New Customer button when I click on that that'll open up the Customer Data Entry form. Here we have wide open text boxes that really help the end user consistently enter information that appears over and over in the database. For instance here we have the City and the State fields. By converting these text boxes into combo boxes where a limited list of options is presented you can gain better control over the data entry process and help guide the end user to making the best choice. So let's improve the functionality of this Customer Data Entry form by converting these two text boxes into combo boxes instead. To do that we first need to take a look at where this data is gonna be coming from.
