- [Instructor] Next let's take a look at the data tab of the property sheet. This gives me lots of options for how data is coming into the form. One property that we have here is called the record set type, and it's currently set to Dynaset. This is the mode that allows me to create a live link between the data in the table and the data in the form. If I were to make a change to the data in the form, I would automatically update the table. If I don't want to be able to make changes to the data by using this form, I could change the record set type from Dynaset and I'll change it to Snapshot. This will essentially make this a read only form, it won't allow me to make changes back to the underlying data table. The Event tab has lots of properties that control interactive behavior, and we're going to take a look at this later on in the course. The Other tab has some miscellaneous controls.
